'Alive Song' (2020)

The “Alive Song” project is an online-project on archaic singing that consisted of weekly workshops, concerts and Vlogs. Its aim was to bring you closer to an unique element of Polish traditional music heritage, which is the folk song and the related technique of white singing in a modern and transparent way.
In addition to a decent dose of theoretical knowledge about Polish folk traditions, different topics and forms of songs and occasions of singing, the project’s participants got to know the basics of white singing techniques, learn selected traditional Polish songs and worked also on different improvisational techniques.
